The PTP Nissan GT-R R35 Intake Manifold Shields are designed to reduce the amount of heat transfer from the top of the engine to the intake manifold. The result is cooler air intake temperatures. The cooler a gas is (such as the intake air), the more dense it is. The more dense the intake air, the more oxygen it contains per unit volume. The more oxygen that reaches the engine, the more power can be obtained.
